Application

Each user of the Center for Clinical Studies is obligated to contact the Laboratory Manager before using the laboratories and equipment for the first time. The user is asked to contact the Laboratory Manager also at the end of the research project and/or if the user wishes to not work in the ZKS any longer.

Every user must write a brief description of his/her project and submit it using the application form to the Laboratory Manager, who maintains a list of projects run in the Center for Clinical Studies. If a user is using the ZKS facility for more than a project, each single project needs to be submitted separately. If several users are  using the ZKS facility for the same project, every single user must submit a separate application (BSL-2 requirement). For applicants who have no practical experience in labwork, there is the opportunity to join the molecular biology practical course of Prof. Hottiger (at the beginning of spring semester).
